RESPONSIBILITIES

Accurate input of bill of materials, as well as regular auditing of existing bill of materials. 
Expected to work with the drafting department during audits
Assisting the engineering change management
The bill of material specialist will report to the Release and Change Manager.
The ideal candidate will have prior experience working with bills of material, CATIA and ERP systems.
The candidate must be a team player and is detail oriented
Responsible for the data integrity of the Bill of Material that passes from Team Center to the PDM system from customer
Prototype Configuration, when necessary:  Implementation part-by-part planning: Provision of basic data from BOM to process partners (development, logistics, purchasing)
Prototype-BOM configuration and deployment (construction stage lists) to prototype shop Change management each prototype (implementation of the changes out of implementation meeting implementation control)
Initial supply & update of the parts product master data from MS Engineering PDM System into Customer PDM system 

DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

Bachelors Degree in an Engineering or Supply Chain/Materials Discipline
Excellent communication in English (written and verbal) 
More than 2 years total work experience and at least 6 moths in this area
Experience with different PDM systems environment, CATIA knowledge is MUST
Team Center Knowledge is an advantage  Understanding of basic BOM components
Experience managing, organizing and maintaining large quantities of data
Detail oriented accuracy  Excellent communication in English (written and verbal)
Proficient in MS Excel  Unparalleled multi tasking abilities
Critical thinking skill set  Ability to react to resets and changes in a time sensitive environment
Experience with Chinese and no Chinese vendors/customers
