RESPONSIBILITIES

Chassis component/tooling engineering cost analysis 
Sub-system program leader, cross-functional team coordination, timing control, supplier management 
Problem solving, reaction to engineering initiatives during program development.
Cost management for new vehicle program launch and development in China region. 
Lead Chassis Sub-System and components cost engineering evaluation and tracking for sourcing,change management and cost improvement. 
Lead Chassis SCIE to Implement cost management process and support cross function group cost engineering evaluation.
Experience and education 
BS or MS degree in Mechanical/Automobile Engineering with more than 5 years’ experience in automobile industry.

DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

 
Good communication skills and Language skills, fluent in written and spoken English. 
Proficient in using MS Office, UG(NX) and / or Catia.
Familiar with Chassis component material cost(Metal, Rubber, Plastic,etc) and manufacturing process, evaluate supplier cost and provide techincal cost estimation. 
Familiar with and good knowhow to setup cost model/tools for Chassis component
Knowledge of casting /injection tooling,fixture manufacturing and cost model. 
Familiar with AQP and automotive product development process&cost engineering process. 
Management:Program management skills for Chassis component sourcing,design change and cost improvement.Coordinate among functional groups both internal and external.
Good interpersonal skills, team work spirit. 
Self-motivated, work under pressure. 
Domestic/International travels may be needed.
