RESPONSIBILITIES

Support the proposal and design review process as required, propagating design re-use and best practices;
Support activities and initiatives for continuous improvement of tools and development processes;
Participate in the integration, validation and commissioning of software.
Work closely with QA team and use of formal and effective development methodologies;
Perform code reviews and propose solutions to various problems.
Prepare LabView software for new testing stations

DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Systems/Electronic Engineering, Biomedical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering;
At least 3 years experience in software development including minimum 1 year with LabVIEW programming
Knowledge of object-oriented programming, design patterns and UML
Intermediate knowledge in at least two of the three main platforms from National Instruments (LabWindows CVI, LabVIEW, TestStand).
Intermediate knowledge in the integration of test platforms and industrial automation;
system and software disciplines
