RESPONSIBILITIES

 
As a test engineer for the Infotainment system you are responsible for verification of system and component functions and a important link in securing the right quality level for the end product.
The infotainment system consists of information and entertainment functions like Radio, Navigation, Audio / Video systems, Antenna systems, Telephone, Telematics, Displays and Information clusters.
Validation planning
Interpretation of requirement specifications
Creation of validation specifications
Creation of validation methods
Securing of a suitable validation environment
Carrying out the actual component and systems tests
Writing of test reports including analysis of the result and recommendations of suitable improvements to the engineering team.
 

DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

Bachelor degree or above
Major in communication, electronics or computer science
A couple of years experience from infotainment or related areas
Validation or design experience from CAN and MOST systems
Tool experience from CANoe, Canalyser
Fluent in English speaking, reading and writing
Experience and good track record from communicating and working in a international environment
Business and management awareness
Well organized and have structure thinking
Open minded and good team spirit
Initiative and positive personality
