RESPONSIBILITIES
- Collaborate on architecture and design decisions driving platform direction
Work together with product and development teams to define software specifications
Implement and maintain back-end functionality supporting front-end services and applications
DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- 3+ years programming experience in Java
1+ years experience with NoSql databases such as HBase or MongoDB
BA/BS degree in Computer Science or related engineering field or equivalent practical experience
Hands-on experience with Hadoop, MR2, or YARN
Hands-on experience with Kafka
Excellent problem solving skills and ability to work independently
Experience with Spring MVC, jQuery, HTML, and CSS
